Facebook tricks and tips

Here I want to show you some Facebook tricks and tips. Don't think I need some opening words for this post... We all know how BIG is Facebook.

1. Here's something for those of you who want to add "unusual" characters in their profiles:

You just need to copy the chosen symbol and paste it there, where you want to show it. Symbols are okay for Skype too.

2. Hide in chat for certain users. Surely some of you want to "hide" from someone when they are in Facebook. You can do it this way:

Open chat, and top left click on Friends list. Then create a new list, write his name and confirm with Enter. You can use BlackList or something. After creating the list, it will appear in your chat. All you have to do now is to edit it by going over it with your mouse and add friends from which you want to hide.
Then I recommend close and open Facebook, to make changes. Now just use the button on the BlackList (or your name on the list) to go offline for selected users.

3. How to use Facebook chat on your desktop:

For this purpose you must obtain the appropriate software. Here are two programs that will do the job: Gabtastik and digsby.

4. One tip that can save you a lot of headaches: Hide your e-mail adress! Let be visible ONLY for you.
